Diamond Masonry & Waterproofing was founded by Christopher Burke in 2000 with a simple mission: give Long Island homeowners honest, high-quality waterproofing and masonry work they could actually count on.

Christopher grew up on Long Island. He knows the soil. He knows the water table. He knows exactly what it takes to keep a Long Island basement dry through a nor'easter. That local knowledge — combined with 25+ years of hands-on experience — is something no big corporation can replicate.

Today, Diamond operates with a 5-person crew that treats every job like it's their own home. The same personal attention Christopher brought to his first job in 2000 is what you get today — whether you're our 50th customer or our 1,000th.

25 Years on Long Island

From a one-man operation to Long Island's trusted waterproofing and masonry team.

2000

Christopher Burke founds Diamond Masonry & Waterproofing in Merrick, NY. Serving neighbors across Long Island from day one.

2003

First major commercial waterproofing contracts. Reputation grows through word-of-mouth across Suffolk County.

2005

100+ homes waterproofed. Christopher expands crew and service capabilities to meet growing demand across Long Island.

2010

Full service expansion to all of Long Island. Licensed in Suffolk County and Town of Freeport. Now serving both residential and commercial customers.

2015

500+ homes served. Diamond becomes one of Long Island's most trusted names in basement waterproofing and masonry.

2020

Expanded masonry services. Introduced 24/7 emergency service for flooding and urgent repairs across all service areas.
